The ice is out already. Here are some of the pics from an early walleye trip we to on April 11 on Rainy Lake. There were 8 of us and we caught about 300 walleyes, 250 of them were above 25 inches. The biggest one was 31. We did not catch any of the real hog walleys, but it was some of the best fishing I have ever had up there in 25 years. Here is the link below with the rest of the pics and I hope you enjoy them, cheers, Tom

How is the Fishing in late July? Walleyes, Northerns, Bass? I have heard of huge "May Fly" hatches that time of year? Thanks

Hi Scott, the fishing is good in July for all species. We do not have very many openings for July as of now, but have some, which dates would you like. The bass tourney is at the end of July and most boats fish up by us. We do have some opening on Aug 8 -15th, cheers, Tom Most of the mayflys are happening now,

Tom,

Thanks for your quick response. Any openings in the first two weeks of September? 2 Adults and 3 Kids with boat. American Plan. Cost for week? Fished around WoodChuck and Cherry Islands years ago. Any Walleyes in those areas?
